The Ancient Order of Hibernian's St. Patricks' Division in Adrian, Michigan
is hosting this State-of-the-Art website as we roll out the most advanced web based programing for Divisons throughout the State, Nation, and World! We will slowly add the different modules of a program called "eHibernian" which was created by a Division member adept at computer programming who was sick of the "paper-based" administration he repeatedly had to do. So, in an effort to make his job duties less time consuming, he began writing a computer program initially running on Linux, and later windows, that made the various reports, forms, filings, and other duties automated and easy! Hopefully, as more and more Hibernians visit this website and experience the time saving eHibernian program and modules, they will see it works wonderfully and should be adopted by all Divisions!
Additionly, one of our Division's Founders has collected all sorts of AOH memorbilia, and one of the best is complete AOH National Constitutions, some from the late 1800s forward (as well as the current AOH Constitution) and we will be hosting images of these historic documents on a rotating basis.
Archives of AOH materials is something we will excel at here at aohmich.com! Our computer network is running on AMD Phenom II CPU with over 2 terrabytes of NAS on aGigabit network with redundent connections to the net, so we have 100% faith the incredible amount of archival material our members have are stored and hosted here safely, and this will give us the ability to not only have these amazing materials here on the website, available for all AOH Brothers and Sisters to view and research, we can ensure that it will be available 99.999999% of the time now and in the future. And even if the web went down, we have all these materials safely backed up off site at not less then three physically seperate servers, one on each major Continent, to gaurentee they will be here for future generations. If you or your division would like to add to this massive archive of AOH materials, please contact us and we would be happy to host and safely keep these materials for a nominal "cost only" amount.
Finally, we will be hosting numerous other AOH Documents that are relevant and important to each and every Hibernian, Divison, and Member. Our news feeds seek out breaking news of interest for Hibernians and Irish worldwide, so you central place for news, blogs, and events will always be a click away by visiting us here at www.aohmich.com.
Your enjoyment, as a Brother or Sister Hibernian is our top priority so please visit often to see the updates as this State-of-the-Art Website grows and makes the AOH a cutting-edge organization that is moving into the future using all available communication methods including Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Google, and all online systems.
Also, we are happy to consult freely with Division, State, and National webmasters to integrate and advise on the most cost effective use of these programs for all the various websites of the AOH. One of the most pressing issues on my mind is the cost savings we could all enjopy by consolidating our webhosting to AOH owned servers. With the nature of the internet, it does not matter where your Division or other website is hosted, all that matters is it is always available and instantly accessable, and most importantly (given today's economy and into the future) that it is economically effective -- aka, the cheapest price while maintaining quality of service.
So look HERE in the future for a special program to save money for all AOH Division's by easily migrating AOH related websites to our servers and network, making your duties as webmasters easier, saving you money and time with drop-and-drag, point-and-click ease. We will all see a great savings and better quality by using servers owned by one AOH, as a member is an accomplished computer programmer and webhosting entrepreneur
Additionally, we will be hosting chats, forums, live streaming events, live webcams of places, events, and all over the USA and Ireland. Please check back in often!
